If you want to visit Kalady, the birthplace of Adi Sankara, you need to alight at Angamali .Its also very close to Cochin airport #traveltip

When in Kerala take an auto.
And I traveled from Ernakulam to Kollam, Kottayam, Thiruvalla, Calicut, Pallakad, Thirussur and finally to Kovai over a period of 3-4 days on those so called national highways.
Nice post, detailed chronology of your travel adventures and misadventures via tweeter. Maybe I should do this too so I wouldn’t miss out on anything. 🙂
You know, I follow your tweets but to see them in the form a post is a brilliant idea ! It does gives a synopsis of your journey. 🙂
