We were doing the monastery circuit on the outskirts of Leh and the views of the mountains are unparalleled. There is beauty in the barrenness , a sense of timelessness about them.

This looks totally dry and barren. Is this just a dry season or is it always so dusty?

There is unparallel beauty in barrenness. Ladakh and Thar epitomizes that. Lovely Photographs.:)
Nice. Really scenic
Beautiful landscape. It makes a nice change to the snow here in the UK.
Beautiful Ladakhi skies! They have a charm of their own!
This is just amazing… Wish I could to go Ladhak.. some day!! How did you travel in Leh?? did you drive? Is there a good network of public transport?

Both photos are gorgeous!
Thanks everyone for your appreciation
as for the queries …
@Tulsa Gentleman – This is the landscape of Ladakh. Its a cold desert and this is the view in summer. Home to the Himalayas, there is very less oxygen here as you climb further uphill..
@ Patricia – No , but can connect with a travel agent and they will organise transport..you can share vehicles with other tourists or have your own vehicle organised
@Iam yuva – I spent about 10 days there..depends on where you are asking from..and why would you like to use this picture ?
the first picture reminds me of Pan Nalin and Samsaara…
gorgeous sky – especially the clouds in the first pic – breathtaking!
Wow… Clouds are my muse, and i get lost in them !!! 🙂
