It can get a bit eerie to be in this old junkyard ..er dockyard at night..which is where we got our boat to Devbagh..makes the journey all the more exciting me thinks..what say ?
Yes, makes the journey exciting and moreover, the beauty of nature around the ‘junkyard’ more than makes up for the lack of facilities in the dockyard.
junkyard? lol. The archic setup makes it more exciting for sure. I bet you had to go around fighuring out where the boats were! Much nicer than having swanky docks with signboards posted all around.
Scary! I don’t know if I’d go there are night – being female.

Junkyard? Doesn’t feel very comfortable; not even the police boat… 😉

Havent seen devbag yet. May be this winter..
LOL! Certainly seems like it will fall into pieces any moment. 🙂
iNTERESTING. We actually thought the whole deal to go to Devbagh was too expensive for few hours of time we had. Did you stay there overnight?
Joy – I wouldnt, if I was alone either..
Gil/GMG -Thats the irony..
Celine -Its a government property and not exactly a dockyard..since JLR was a govt property, I guess they used this as their jetty.
Arun – Its a great place..I wish I could go again to explore further
Shantanu – Right ! And we were waiting for a boat at night, but the officials were nice enough to wait for us
Ajeya – I did. two nights ..quite good though Im told the resort at the Kurumgad island is better as they offer more adventure
