India through my eyes – What the Gods eat !


Grams sold outside the Azhagar (Alagar )temple dedicated to Vishnu near Madurai . This is bought by devotees and served to the Gods.. I asked why and no one answered..

    Apt title for this post, perhaps the temple varalaru may be that serving these grams to Alagar may bring prosperity, do away with diseases, something along those lines etc.

    Hi Lakshmi! Sorry for the delay in coming here, but these last weeks have been hectic; no, I’m not talking about the financial/economic crisis… ;))
    Anyhow, why do the Gods need all those grams? 😉
