The reason for MOnday blues is that most people use the weekend trying to pack everything and anything into it so that by the end of Sunday they are so exhausted that they need another day to recouperate from their weekend. That day usually is Monday which is a work day, hence the blues because they over did the weekend trying to catch up on chores and entertainment.
