Travel Tuesday – Colours of Rajasthan
The makers of the modern day Rajasthan seem to have dipped their brush in a huge palette and called their cities Blue City, Pink City and Gold City.
It was a holiday and all the local men and women visited Mehrangarh in Jodhpur. While they looked in awe at the foreign tourists, the latter was equally smitten by them, especially the colours. Most of them posed and while the local women do not like to show their faces, some boldy did so. I was a bit reluctant at first but finally I found myself photographing them as well.
