The Madras University in the background..Yes the beach is dirty, but as I went walking, I saw that the rubbish was being sucked out by a machine..However it would have helped if people are more conscious when they litter the place
The lighthouse in the fog, while some of the stalls are yet to be opened . Most of these stalls contribute to the dirt around the beach
Shoot the balloon..funny to see the stall empty without all the balloons..yes, the sands are still covered with rubbish

The beach looks so unappealing with all the rubbish strewn about….sadly, it has always been like this. I have seen vadai vendors emptying out their huge vats of used oil right onto the sand at the end of the day.

Nice shots. Beautiful places are mostly spoilt by humans. There must be a more effective garbage management system. I believe the relevant authorities should place more garbage bins around, and educate theirresponsible people on the need and importance of maintaining a cleaner environment. Stalls must be monitored and built at specific locations along the beach instead of allowing random setups.
Its been ages since I have been here…. and now my whole family will be gathering in chennai in a few days.. except me 🙁
