The last time I was in Jaipur, it was five years ago. I was in Delhi on work and yes, I had a day job then and the husband joined me over the weekend and we went on a sudden unplanned trip to Jaipur with the brother in law in tow who was hosting us. I had a great time then. No travel writing, no travel photography, no posts on the travel blog .I just holidayed. We ate and drank in style, went to Taj Rambagh Palace for drinks and dinner and then painted the city pink . I even brought home loads of blue pottery from Jaipur.
This time as well, Jaipur is an unscheduled stop over. Contrary to what the picture says, Jaipur is not my destination. I am heading to Pushkar for now and then onwards to wherever my wanderlust takes me but am loving it this way. Travelling without an agenda, imbibing, experiencing whatever comes my way has become my style of travel now. I dont intend to “ do” a destination , so that the romance always remains and there is always a mystery and something new to discover every time I visit.
Nice! Hope to read more stories soon!
