These were a couple of pictures that I took of the River Teesta in Sikkim during my last trip..Cant wait to go there again. Its been more than four years and I didnt even have a analog SLR then – just a simple aim and shoot. This is a very short trip and its organised by Club Mahindra as part of their bloggers trip every year. Im looking forward to meeting the bloggers and visiting Gangtok again .

    Amazing pics. Raw nature at its best. It must be quite cold there.
    I am suddenly feeling like planning a trip for sikkim :).

    I was searching for a nice travel site and chanced upon your blog … u have a very beautiful space with amazing clicks…and nice short writeups… I saw ur other post requesting for feedback… i suggest you could add a little extra infomation like accomodation and native food which would make it more resourceful for bloggers who plan to make the same trip…its everybody desire to travel to new places but few dare.. your sikkim pictures are also very beautiful…it is on my wishlist from long time : ) if u get time do visit my blog … I have added your blog in my travel section … hope you dont mind

    i think Gangtok is the best hill station i have ever been to.
    The mountains n the view is the awesome. And when the clouds are so close to the house that u can actually FEEL the heaven on earth? its like wow. 🙂

    Hii Lakshmi!! Clearly I am coming here after ages because I missed the transition from black background to this colourful shades of blue! When I went to Bhutan last, I distinctly remember crossing this river – its quite significant in the area.

    I have grown up there, worked there…still not done with it.. !!!

    I feel I have to go back again.. I think its the combination of river, mountain and people..totally love it.. thanks for the post.. Laxmi.. will be visiting more often now..
