Skywatch – A visit to Fatehpur Sikri

We were in Fatehpur Sikri on a hot summer afternoon. Needless to say I was sun burnt. The old town built by Mughal emperor Akbar stood in dramatic colours – the fiery red sandstone standing out against a dull blue sky .

it was red hot and burning when i last visited fatehpur sikri too 🙂 did not like any of my pics except some silhouettes. this one is quite soothing. ofcourse, it would have been better if there was some more variety in the sky!

I just went to Fathehpur Sikri in October. Not as hot then, but I loved that place. My mom’s family lives close by there and I really saw it for the first time. Very Nice!
