I was in Orissa last week and I visited the Buddhist triangle – Ratnagiri, Udayagiri and Lalitgiri which is about 100 kms from Bhubaneshwar. There were monasteries, stupas and many monuments excavated here and most of them were dated between 7th – 12th centuries. Some of these sites also had breathless landscapes like these in Udayagiri.

Amazing sites. I think sites in Gunung Kidul, Central Java, Indonesia have almost similar ambiance -between mountain landscape.
